What Ibuprofen is and what it is used for
Ibuprofen is used for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain such as headache, toothache, muscle ache, backache, and menstrual cramps. It is also used to reduce fever and alleviate pain and inflammation in arthritic conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.
Do not take Ibuprofen
• If you are allergic to Ibuprofen or any other component of this medicine.
• If you have had allergic reactions to Acetylsalicylic acid or other anti-inflammatory painkillers.
• If you have previously experienced gastrointestinal bleeding after using non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
• If you suffer from an ulcer or bleeding in the stomach or intestines or have had at least two episodes in the past.
• If you have severe liver, kidney, or heart problems.
• If you are severely dehydrated or have any active bleeding.
• If you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy.
Warnings and precautions
Talk to your doctor about all your medical conditions, including if you have chronic inflammatory gastrointestinal diseases like ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease.
How to store Ibuprofen
• Store at room temperature 20 to 25°C.
