Introduction:
Hymox is a medication that contains 250 mg of Amoxicillin in every 5 ml. It is used to treat a variety of infections caused by bacteria in different parts of the body.
Uses:
Amoxicillin is used to treat infections in the upper and lower respiratory tract, including bronchitis and pneumonia. It can also be used to treat ear infections and sinusitis.
Dosing:
The maximum recommended dose for adults and children over 40 kg is 6 grams per day, divided into three doses. For children under 40 kg, the maximum dose is 3 grams. Special formulations should be used for children under 6 years old.
Warnings:
Discontinue use of Hymox and contact your doctor if you experience symptoms such as hypersensitivity, rash, or breathing difficulties. These symptoms are very rare.
