Co-Aprovel Treating Blood Pressure
Co-Aprovel is a medication designed for the treatment of hypertension, containing a combination of Irbesartan, an angiotensin II receptor antagonist, and Hydrochlorothiazide, a thiazide diuretic. This combination effectively helps in controlling blood pressure.
Uses:
Co-Aprovel is indicated for patients who are not adequately controlled with monotherapy. It is also considered as initial therapy for patients likely to need multiple drugs to achieve their blood pressure goals.
Warnings:
Do not take Irbesartan/Hydrochlorothiazide if you have hypersensitivity to any of its components, or if you have hypersensitivity to sulfonamide-derived drugs. It is also contraindicated in cases of anuria, renal impairment, or liver impairment.
