Co-Tabuvan Treating Blood Pressure
Co-Tabuvan is a combination drug used to treat high blood pressure. It contains two main components:
Valsartan: An angiotensin II receptor blocker that helps lower blood pressure.
Hydrochlorothiazide: A diuretic that helps the body eliminate excess fluids, contributing to lower blood pressure.
Indications for Use:
- Treatment of hypertension.
- Heart failure and related heart issues.
- Liver cirrhosis.
- Cases of renal failure and kidney diseases.
- Fluid retention.
Precautions:
- Swallow the tablet with water.
- Avoid taking the medication before bedtime.
- Do not chew or crush the tablet.
- If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered.
- Store the medicine at room temperature and away from light.
