Co-Diovan Treating Blood Pressure
Co-Diovan is a combination drug used to treat high blood pressure. It contains two main components:
Valsartan: An angiotensin II receptor blocker that helps lower blood pressure.
Hydrochlorothiazide: A diuretic that helps the body eliminate fluids and reduces blood pressure.
Indications for use:
- Hypertension.
- Heart failure and heart problems.
- Liver cirrhosis.
- Renal failure and kidney diseases.
- Fluid retention.
Precautions:
- Swallow the tablet with water.
- Avoid taking the medication before bedtime.
- Do not chew or crush the tablet.
- If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered.
- Store the medication at room temperature and away from light.
- Do not exceed the prescribed dosage.
