Co-Diovan Treating Blood Pressure
Co-Diovan is a combination drug used to treat high blood pressure. It contains two main components: Valsartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker, and Hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic that helps the body eliminate fluids.
Indications for use:
Co-Diovan is used for treating hypertension, heart failure, heart problems, liver cirrhosis, renal failure, and kidney diseases. It also aids in reducing fluid retention.
Storage instructions:
The medication should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat and moisture, at room temperature (between 15-30 degrees Celsius).
Contraindications:
It is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any component of the medication, as well as during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy.
